Welcome to Sage House Yoga’s 300 Hour Yoga TTC program in Rishikesh – an advanced yoga teacher training program that will take your personal practice and teaching skills to the next level.

Our program is designed to build on the strong foundation of our 200 Hour program, and deepen your knowledge of yoga philosophy, anatomy and physiology, advanced asanas, and teaching methodology. You will learn from experienced and certified yoga teachers who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and supporting you on your journey.

During the program, you will dive deeper into the practice of yoga asanas, pranayama, and meditation, exploring advanced variations and modifications that will challenge you both physically and mentally. You will also deepen your understanding of yoga philosophy, including the Bhagavad Gita and the Upanishads, and how to apply these teachings to your practice and teaching.

Anatomy and physiology is another important aspect of our program, as we believe that a deep understanding of the human body is essential for safe and effective teaching. You will explore the human body in relation to advanced yoga asanas, including inversions, arm balances, and backbends.

Our program also includes advanced teaching methodology workshops, where you will refine your teaching skills and develop your own unique teaching style. I. Yoga Philosophy and Ethics (30 hours)

  • Advanced study of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali
  • Study of the Bhagavad Gita and its relevance to modern-day life

  • The history and evolution of yoga as a spiritual and physical practice

II. Advanced Anatomy and Physiology (40 hours)

You have to prepare yourself for the day with an enthusiastic mindset so that it reflects throughout the day. Early risers often have very well-established sleep routines. This means going to bed early, and most likely at the same time every day is also a practice of discipline in the path of yoga.

6:00am - Herbal Tea

Herbal tea is an effective drink in improving metabolism and enhancing the health status

6:15am - 7:45am Multistyle Yoga

The session is designed to help students develop a well-rounded yoga practice that includes a variety of asanas (yoga poses), pranayama (breathing exercises), and meditation techniques. The session may include a warm-up, a series of sun salutations, standing and seated postures, and a final relaxation.

9:00am Breakfast

10:15am - 11:15am Anatomy and Alignment

The session is led by a trained yoga instructor or a certified anatomist, who has a deep understanding of human anatomy and how it relates to yoga practice. During the session, students may learn about the structure and function of the skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems, as well as the common injuries and precautions for yoga practitioners.

11:30am - 12:30am Yoga Philosophy

During this session, students may learn about the history and origins of yoga, the different paths of yoga, the eight limbs of yoga, and the role of yoga in modern society. Students may also study important texts, such as the Bhagavad Gita and the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, to gain a deeper understanding of the principles and teachings of yoga.
