The signature module of Sage House. Progressive inversion training built from the ground up — wrist conditioning, shoulder stability, core engagement, and precise weight distribution. You’ll work from crow pose through forearm balance to freestanding handstand, with Ankit’s detailed personal feedback at every stage. Students consistently cite this as skills they’ve never found anywhere else.

Not just how to flow — how to think about flow. You’ll learn the arc of an intelligent sequence: how to warm a joint before demanding it, when to build peak intensity and when to begin descent, and how to weave inversions into a vinyasa class without breaking energy or risking injury.

Joint-by-joint alignment principles applied to every foundational pose. No dogma, no “this is just how it’s done” — only anatomy-backed reasoning you can explain and teach to any student. You’ll leave knowing why each alignment cue exists and how to adapt it for different body types.

Understand how the body actually moves under load — force vectors, joint mechanics, muscular co-contraction, and how gravity interacts with every pose. This is what separates a teacher who corrects by feel from one who corrects by understanding.

Science-backed mobility work that creates active, usable range of motion — not passive stretching that disappears the moment you need strength. You’ll learn PAILs/RAILs, CARs, and loaded flexibility protocols that translate directly into inversion capacity.

Traditional breathing practices grounded in both yogic lineage and modern respiratory physiology. Nadi Shodhana, Kapalabhati, Bhramari, and box breathing — taught with the physiological reasoning that makes each technique a tool, not a ritual.

Classical philosophy — Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, the eight limbs, Samkhya, and the concept of Prakriti — made accessible and genuinely useful for modern life. Practical meditation techniques you can teach without needing a decade of study to explain.

I’m Ankit, a passionate yoga teacher and co-founder of Sage House Yoga in Rishikesh, where I share traditional yoga practices through teacher trainings, retreats, and immersive learning experiences.

My journey with yoga began as a personal path toward balance, discipline, and inner awareness. Over the years, yoga has become a way of life—guiding how I move, teach, connect, and grow each day. I believe yoga is not only about physical practice, but about creating harmony between the body, mind, and breath.

Through my teaching, I aim to help students build a deeper connection with themselves while developing confidence, mindfulness, and authenticity in their practice. I enjoy creating classes that are grounding, supportive, and accessible, blending traditional teachings with a modern understanding of movement and alignment.

At Sage House Yoga, my intention is to create a welcoming and inspiring environment where students from around the world can come together to learn, evolve, and experience the true essence of yoga in the spiritual atmosphere of the Himalayas.

This course is designed for beginners and intermediate yoga practitioners who want to deepen their yoga practice. This training will help you grow your personal practice and explore what it’s like to become a yoga teacher through a shorter program.

Our curriculum includes a range of practices such as Hatha, Ashtanga, Pranayama, and meditation, along with foundational yoga philosophy and anatomy. The course also features specialized handstand training.

 The fee covers accommodation, daily meals, 1 Ayurvedic massage, airport shuttle, one-on-one class with a teacher, study materials, excursions, and more.

 Yes, our 100 Hour YTTC is Yoga Alliance certified and can be credited towards a 200 Hour YTTC in the future.

 The program runs for 12 days and includes both theoretical and practical training.

 We recommend bringing comfortable yoga clothes, a reusable water bottle, and personal toiletries. All course materials like books and cleansing kits are provided.
